Key Events in 2008
v Dismantling Racism Training….. The first of these training sessions have been scheduled. The dates and places are as follows: Saturday, May 10………………..Brookville Evangelical UMC Wednesday, May 14…………….Camp Allegheny Saturday, May 17………………..Holiday Park UMC Wednesday, May 21…………….Saegertown UMC In order to sign up for one of these events, you will need to call Mareena Anderson at the Conference Center switchboard (724-776-2300). On site registration for these events will begin at 9:00a.m. with the first session starting at 9:30a.m. Lunch will be provided as a part of our time together. There is no charge for these sessions. Cost is being covered by our “Believe Again” plan for ministry. All Clergy( both active and retired) in our Annual Conference is expected to open one of these dates on his/her calendar and participate in a session. Also you are encouraged to bring one or two key lay leaders with you to this training.
CAMP ALLEGHENY……OPEN HOUSE May 18 from 2 – 6p.m. A day of FREE FUN< FREE FOOD>FREE ACTIVITIES.. a great time to introduce your child to the wonderful experience of Christian Church Camp.
